Seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual to work on a team to conduct assessment of tributaries of 3 main rivers in Bay St. George South area to determine their affect of salmon movement through the river. Through use of handheld GPS, digital camera and detailed notes, document any blockages/obstructions and report findings back to the office manager and assist with activity and project reports. Successful candidate must have own transportation, ability to travel to remote sites near rivers and walk long distances through rough terrain and all types of weather. Experience/general knowledge of local area and rivers an asset. Experience using GPS, digital camera and computer programs such as Microsoft word and Excel an asset.
